Alba is an Italian qualified lawyer with extensive experience in civil, corporate, banking, financial, and competition law. She also has well-established expertise in new technologies, including blockchain, artificial intelligence, cryptocurrencies and autonomous vehicles. She has worked for two elite boutique law firms and one of Italy's leading top-tier firms, representing banks, investment funds, multinational companies, and start-ups. On the academic side, Alba serves as a Teaching Fellow (Cultore della Materia) at the University of Milan and holds a joint PhD from the University of Milan (UNIMI) and the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). She is the author of numerous publications in specialist journals and of a monograph on blockchain and cryptocurrencies. She regularly speaks at conferences and webinars on new technologies.
